Double Rainbow.

Sometimes life just throws you these curveballs that seem impossible to hit. Like this week for instance... You know how the first few weeks of a new semester are so easy because the professors are only just setting up the course, and starting to teach you the material? and you love it because you don't have very much homework and you can spend all your time doing fun stuff? Then that one week that every single one of your professors decides to burry you under a billion pounds of homework and you say to yourself "What the?" You have become so used to hanging out with friends instead of studying that it is almost like a culture shock. Well that was this week for me.

To add a pinch more ridiculous to our soup of stress, I got sick on Sunday. So I started off the week under the weather, but I pushed through it and did all the things I needed to until yesterday. Then yesterday (Wednesday) rolled around... I woke up feeling like death itself. Actually I don't even know if I was even alive. All I remember about that morning is that my alarm went off at 8am and I turned it off. A little while later I sat up and thought to myself "Crap! I have to get the kids to school!" Then I thought "Wait! I don't have any kids..." Then I laid back down and stated "I am NOT going to class today." Apparently my roommate Tabby took that statement to heart and made the same decision. Tisk tisk.

The point of this story is that this week was crap. But I will say this...
Sometimes you will be sitting in your apartment feeling all miserable and stuff and someone comes and knocks on your door and says "Have you seen the double rainbow?" Then you run outside with your camera and witness this:
Let me tell you that this image does not even come close to doing it justice. Not at all. Mostly because the double rainbow was so big that I couldn't even capture the whole thing in my frame and then double part of the rainbow is hard to see. But in real life it was spectacular.

P.S. I am feeling much better today, have caught up on most of my school work, and am going to hangout with a friend because I think I deserve it.

So happy that it is sunny out!

Car Friends.

Cold Remedies.

Today the parking attendant (who was a girl) said "Thank you sir." very flirtatiously I might add. This made me very insecure. Maybe it was my short hair that confused her... But I will add that I was wearing my very feminine sunglasses...

I had a dream the other night that I ate 6 different swirl ice cream cones at the same time and held each one in one of my six arms. It was great.

Today I wore my most favorite shoes. Jelly shoes!!! I don't care what anyone says... they are amazing. I got them about 5 years ago at the dollar store for, well, A DOLLAR! and I wore them constantly. Then after a long time they started breaking and I stopped wearing them. I could never bring myself to throw them out, because I always hoped for a day when I would wear them again. Today was that day, and it was marvelous.

Today was my last day of classes. The next week and half are finals! I am so stressed. Also I got sick. It never fails... I get sick just about every four months and it always happens around important events in my life. So I went to the store and bought tons of medication & cool touch klenex. They are very cool.

Death is a feeling.

Today was my first day home in Texas. There were so many things that I wanted to do…. Like finish my Christmas shopping, go to the bay front, drive down Enis Joslin (AKA the scenic route…), eat some Mexican food, go to one of the new Walmarts, touch ocean water, bask in the sunshine, etc…
What I ended up doing was laying on the couch, playing video games with my brother, catching up on my TV shows, feeling miserable, petting my cat, asking “Why must I feel this way?!?!”, wishing that there was some kind of magical wizard that could zap away my sickness, and hacking up my poor little lungs.
Yep. Thats right… I am sick. Very sick.
The only time I left the house today was to go with my brother to rent Eclipse… Please don’t judge. I know… It is sad that I risked further death like feelings to rent such a ridiculous movie… but my mother hadn’t seen it. We both have read all the books and seen most the movies, so we can’t not see the last ones. Even if they are cheesy, and ridiculous. I can’t help but laugh at them. So very entertaining….
Oh dang… I vowed that I would never talk about Twilight on my blog… WHAT HAS THIS SICKNESS DONE TO ME?!?! I guess that I must share my opinion now that I have mentioned it… It is way overrated. Too many normal people have turned into creeps when exposed to this nonsense. Maybe that is the whole master plan for the demise of the human race. Oh Satan. You are good… but I have caught on to your trickery. Don’t get me wrong. I liked the books. I read them all, but they weren’t that good. Hardly even close to the literary geniuses that so kindly grace us with their poetic masterpieces. I will end there.
Hoping for a Christmas miracle…

Today, Food is not my friend.

Food is not my friend today.
I believe that I have food poisoning. Although i am not quite sure what I ate that was bad. So here i sit and write about it. No I wont go into any gory details. I don’t think I can even think about it right now. I never want to eat again though.
So I missed work today which is unfortunate because I need the hours, and I have a feeling i’ll be way behind tomorrow. I have spent my day on the couch doing absolutely nothing, but feeling sorry for myself and trying to sleep. I have come to very much dislike the basement I live in today. It’s hard to sleep when the people upstairs run around extremely loud right over head. Especially the little 4 year olds who stomp around constantly. My diet has consisted of water and a forced piece of toast. I will not eat the crackers I was given.
I kinda think I may have been going insane last night because I remember thinking there was a bear in the closet. Maybe it was a dream. But it seemed so vivid. For the record there were growling noises. But now that I think of it the sound I heard was the engine of the truck next door.
I also thought I saw a ghost. I believe it may have been my shadow.
What I am trying to say is that I hardly got any sleep last night due to hallucinations, and the symptoms that come with food poisoning.
Bright side is that I was able to watch the movie “Dan in real life” today. I’ve been wanting to see it forever. So funny. “Put it on my tab.”
I also got to watch some Scooby Doo. I love scooby. Bad news is that i’ve been listening to the kids upstairs sing the theme song all afternoon. Vents are a very good way to eavesdrop. Cons to vents are that you hear everything…. I can currently hear Vampire Weekend. No im not even listening to my ipod. It’s coming from upstairs.
I also just heard my aunt yell out “I AM DONE!” in regards to her taxes. Im glad thats done because ive been hearing her yell about how it was taking forever all day.
I think I will try and sleep now.
