In my life I have gotten so much hatred from cat haters (you know who you are). All of a sudden because I love cats I am now accused of being a cat lady. Alone and sad. Although I do admit that I am contemplating painting a portrait of my cat, there is no way that I am a "cat lady". There is such a vicious community of cat haters in the world, but I think that it's just because they don't understand the complexity of a kitty mind and the loving touch and purr of a feline friend. I feel bad for you people. So if you don't like cats then get outta here! (Just kidding... don't leave. I promise that this will be the only post where I talk just about my love for cats. Pinky promise.) The fact is that I LOVE CATS AND DOGS! You don't have to pick sides like team Gale or Peeta (Peeta all the way) (or Edward or Jacob... I'm sorry to even bring vampires and werewolves up).
So today I was hanging out with my cat Izzy (or as I like to call him Izzster, The Dark Night (because he's black and hard to see at night), Fatty Pants, The Izzmyster, Fatty, Buddy, Wolverine (he has sharp claws and is not afraid to use them), Dexter, Pancho Villa, Little Z, Jack, The Hulk (because of his rage), Trouble, Sour Patch Kid (because he is sour then sweet), Baby, Curious George, Dumbo, The Big Izz, The Izz, Flush, etc. Basically, every piece if his personality has a nickname) and it reminded me of the good ole days when we hung out all the time. Just me and Little Z sleeping, watching TV, listening to music (he taps his tail with the beat of the music), and crafting (he likes to walk all over my projects and get into everything paint related) together. He is almost like a human. He drinks out of cups, loves tomatoes (and so do I), and loves music. I am not even kidding about the music. When my dad plays the guitar Izzy will sit there and listen. When my dad finishes a song he will say "Did you like that Izzy?" and Izzy always meows in reply. Always. But when I play the guitar and ask the same question he only meows when I play oldies. Izzy loves the oldies. I am pretty sure that his favorite is Johnny Cash. My cat has excellent taste in music.
I actually just watched my cat play with a string for about an hour. It's very amusing and never boring.
Look at this cuteness:
Also. Webcams suck.
I will admit that my little trouble maker does drive me crazy. I'll also admit that he is not the nicest feline around. I have met some awful kittys. But you can't judge the entire population of cats on a few cats that have bad tempers! Or a few cats who's owners don;t clean up after them so their house smell! Like any animal cats take time, attention, love, cleanliness, care, and money. So don't hat my cat... and don't call me a "cat lady".
If you love cats and/or have a special feline in your life please tell me about the little guy/girl! Send a picture! I've been thinking that us cat people should unite and spread kitty awareness!

P.S. Please don't judge me.

Flashback Friday
When I found this picture I pretty much wanted to cry. Is this not the most adorable thing you have ever seen? A cat wearing a little hat! And me with no front teeth! This cat is my most favoritest (I am aware that's not a word...) cat ever!!! I found little Smokey stuck on a fence whilst riding my scooter to the park. I helped him down from the fence and petted him a while. He then followed me to the park and then back home and never left. We were buddies. Every morning I would have to run to school so that he couldn't follow me. I was seriously living the "Mary had a little lamb" story except with a cat.
At this point in my life I was obsessed with Pokemon. I know... you wouldn't expect a cute little girl wearing a snow flake shirt holding a cat with a hat on to be a Pokemon fanatic... sadly it's true. So one day I was leaving for the mall to buy more Pokemon cards and Smokey wanted to play. I told him that I was busy and would play later. Well I didn't play with Smokey that day. The next morning as I was leaving for school I found Smokey dead in the road. I didn't go to school that day because I was heart broken. I never played Pokemon again. The moral of the story is that Pokemon is bad...
I miss my little buddy.

Cut's Like a Knife.
Introducing... my little devil of a cat Izzy. He looks like he is about to kill me in this picture, and the sad thing is that he probably is... The point of this fuzzy web cam picture of my cat and I is that getting chased down the hallway, dodging wolverine-like claws, and literally being scared to death by this maniac of a cat is something that I missed while I was away. It's good to be home. Also, see that Harry Potter scar on my forehead? Really... It seriously resembles Harry's scar... Well you might think that my cat scratched my face (which sadly has happened before) but no. I went shopping today and while trying on a dress the tag scratched me in the face and I bled profusely onto said dress. It was sad and embarrassing... What did I do with the bloody dress? Well I had every intention of informing the dressing room attendant, but she left. So I left the dress there bloody side up (dang... I am going to think of the phrase "bloody side up" every time I order eggs "sunny side up"). At first I felt terrible. Then I thought that whoever makes a clothing tag that cuts like a knife is an idiot.
