This Is A True Story

When I was a little girl I was given a little wedding bell favor from a wedding. There was a tag on that bell that stated “When this bell is rung, two people will fall in love.” I rang and rang that bell and when I would see people in love I would rejoyce in the fact that I had created the love that they shared. I did this with no reward or expectations of any. I didn’t dare tell anyone I had this power because the thought of it being abused terrified me. I went to bed at night happy that I was changing the world two people at a time…

Then I grew up.

If only love was that simple.
